Don’t let your past dictate your future!
There are several reasons why you may be declined credit from banks and other funding providers.
The reasons can be varied, but it normally comes down to the information held about you by one or other of the Credit Reference Agencies.
The natural psychology of most people when credit is declined is to immediately apply elsewhere. Very logical you may think but often has a significant impact on your credit score.
Most credit providers will run credit checks on you and each search which is carried out will show on the register on your credit file. Each search will have an adverse effect on your records.
There is no legislation which allows you access to the reasons why you are being refused. Sometimes it is something quite simple as in information about a house move, one missed payment on an existing credit card payment or simply incorrect information. If a person living at the same address as you has adverse credit then this will affect your credit file too.
The following factors will contribute to your credit file:-
- No electoral roll information
- County Court Judgements (paid or unpaid)
- Defaults (paid or unpaid)
- Family adverse credit
- Inadequate or poor payment history on any accounts (currently or previously held)
- Multiple address links
- Multiple links with other people
- Incorrect information
- Multiple credit searches
- CIFAS warnings
- Out of date information
- Repossessions

Personal Credit Correction steps
Step 1
Email your credit file to help@navigatebr.com We will then provide the initial free review of your personal credit file which will include step 1, 2 and 3. If then you wish to instruct us to carry out the work on your behalf then we can move forward to a detailed scope of work which will require a payment of £1,850 plus VAT.
Step 2
An analysis is carried out and we provide a simple report on the entries which are having a negative impact on your ability to borrow money and or obtain credit.
Step 3
A clear outline of your options are then discussed in order to establish what needs to be done to remove or amend the items in question.
Step 4
A report is generated allowing you to carry out the necessary steps.
Step 5
A detailed copy and analysis of your repaired file together with a full explanation of its contents is provided to conclude the service.
The whole process can take anything between three to six months depending on the number of entries and the complexities on the file.
The costs for steps one, two and three are free. The rest is dependent on how many entries there are but as guide it will be £155 plus VAT per entry to be amended.
The initial payment of £1,850 + VAT is non-refundable unless you subsequently cancel your order and that no work has been undertaken.
Cancellation
When we have received your order and payment, we will send you written confirmation that there is an agreement between us. You will have the right to cancel the agreement between us within seven working days of the date of our written confirmation.
If you request us to start our Credit Correction service within that seven working day period, your cancellation rights will lapse. If you do not tick the box on the order form to indicate that you want us to begin right away, we will wait seven working days before we start the process
