Sentencing in Fraudulent trading
It all depends on what you have been charged with. It ranges from the maximum sentence if ten years to seven years if the offences that took place before 15 January 2007.
This of course is only in worst-case scenarios, and the maximum sentences would only be issued where there has been a deliberate act of recklessness and an obvious offence where significant amounts of monies are involved.
For smaller offences, the charge is most likely to be in the range of one to three years.
